Cloud-Enabled IoT Access Controller – Integrated Cloud-Based Attendance System & IoT Access Control System for Smarter Access Controller Solutions.
In today's context, a Physical Access Control/Attendance System refers to unlocking an electric or electronic lock to grant access to a secured location. Traditionally, these systems are configured using proprietary client software provided by the manufacturer. Modern advancements now integrate technologies such as IoT access control systems and face recognition attendance systems, enabling smarter, more secure, and contactless access management.
Essentially based on identification technologies like card readers and fingerprint readers, traditional systems are now evolving. In the post-virus era, it is more relevant to deploy newer, contactless technologies such as face recognition attendance systems and QR code readers. These can be effectively integrated into a cloud based attendance system for improved safety, scalability, and remote management.
Access is granted based on RF cards or biometric authentication, depending on the gate and time zone configuration. However, such access controller systems often have limitations, such as granting permanent access until it is manually revoked. Modern solutions like facial attendance systems offer more dynamic and secure access control, enabling real-time updates and improved flexibility.
➣It is permanent, until recalled.
➣The logic cannot be changed based on the Customer’s dynamic requirement.
➣The added cost of manual intervention and manpower training needs to be incurred.
Our Modern Solution
requires:
➣ Flexible and adaptable to changing organizational needs
➣ Allows users to define access rights on-the-fly, based on real-time requirements
➣ Integrated with facial attendance system and cloud based attendance system for seamless, contactless, and remote access management
➣ Requires no overhead costs for infrastructure or credential management
1. The user presents their QR code, face, card, or biometric fingerprint to a reader connected to the access controller system panel, requesting attendance or access to the controlled door. This process is managed seamlessly by an IoT access control system for real-time, secure authentication.
2. The code, once read, is verified against a dynamic user database in real-time via IoT protocols from the server. This online verification is handled by the IoT access control system as part of the access controller system’s secure authentication process.
3. The management software verifies the code for the user's attendance or access validity at this specific location and point in time, based on one or more of the following criteria. This process is often enhanced by technologies such as a face recognition attendance system or facial attendance system for accurate and contactless identification.
I): Validity date for subscription based Access/Attendance
II): Condition based like forbidden for a period (like repair/maintenance/suspended)
III): Occupancy based (like limiting user count in an area/for a project)
IV): Granting access based on demand (Security, Visitor, or New User Access)’
V): Time of day (like night) or day of week (like Weekly off) Validation.
4. The door may be opened dynamically upon successful verification in online mode, based on conditional access rules managed by the IoT access control system within the access controller system.
FaceIT Systems offers a smart door access solution using the latest IoT-based technology, harnessing the power of the Internet to deliver real-time precision in access control. Our cutting-edge IoT access control system, integrated with a robust access controller system, transforms traditional security models into efficient, contactless operations.
⋗ No need to provide physical credentials like RF cards or biometric scans
⋗ No need to assign permanent access to static credentials
⋗ Online, real-time view of attendance, area access, and door status through the access controller system
⋗ Scalable with zero latency, as the application communicates directly with the database to dynamically grant access using the IoT access control system
It is now more relevant to deploy modern technologies such as face recognition devices, QR code readers, and other contactless solutions, especially in the post-virus era. These advancements, when integrated with cloud-based and IoT-based technologies, enhance safety and efficiency. Solutions like a face recognition attendance system or a facial attendance system offer hygienic, secure, and real-time access management without the need for physical touchpoints.
It is essential for the access management system to support push technologies, operate online with a dashboard, and utilize IoT protocols with cloud enablement. A modern IoT access control system, combined with a flexible access controller system, should also offer seamless integration with other applications such as intelligent visitor management systems, video surveillance, and more for a unified security infrastructure.
Access management decisions are often based on data maintained across parallel systems. It is essential to validate access to the organization using complex logic driven by dynamic data such as subscription status, compliance requirements, and occupancy levels. A modern cloud based attendance system, integrated with an intelligent IoT access control system, enables real-time decision-making and flexible access control based on these evolving parameters.
